Organic Preparations and Procedures International (OPPI) is a bimonthly publication aimed at the dissemination of information of particular importance to organic chemists engaged in synthesis. It is devoted to preparative organic chemistry, organometallic compounds and procedures generally related to organic synthesis. Manuscripts in the English language on all phases of synthetic organic chemistry will be published in OPPI. Except for Communications, Contributions to OPPI are published free of charge.

     Authors should endeavor to state clearly and explicitly, either in a cover letter or preferably in the first few sentences of the text, the rationale for the work and the reason(s) for which the contents are of importance to organic synthesis. OPPI does not consider the preparation of new compounds by standard and well-established methods a sufficient reason for publication. Other forums for the disclosure of the routine preparation of new compounds are available.
